Hi guys, I’m Lauren.
That picture is of me after I medaled in a 5k in 2015. I’m not a runner, but I’ve always been an athlete. Sometimes life happens and it’s easy to lose sight of our passions and our goals. That’s what happened to me. And after years of not competing, because of school and work, I decided to make a change. I started this blog in September of 2014 to share my fitness aspirations, healthy tips, workouts and my progress throughout my journey to a better me. I started getting serious about running in July of 2014 when I began training for my first half marathon. There are always going to be ups-and-downs, but this blog serves as a reminder that despite the struggles we encounter we must always keep pressing forward in a positive way, every single day.
I’m a Move It Monday ambassador and member of Team Nuun. Professionally I am a freelancer writer who gets to work at home beside my dog Karma. I write for a variety of clients, some you might know like New Balance and MapMyFitness among others.
